This brings to mind a couple of very popular Kenyan Choir groups which were there in the 80s and 90s e.g The Prison’s band Choir and Muungano Choir. Whatever happened to them? There are always good groups coming out of the Kenyan music festivals, do they die off or what happenes.

Enjoy a clip of one of their performances( I love the spirit, conviction and emotion in South African Music, makes one feel like crying)

(if you like the music by this group also try music by Deborah, she is a south African gospel singer as well)
