Kenya International Film Festival from 22nd – 1st Nov,2008

The 3rd edition of Kenya International Film Festival (KIFF)is scheduled to take place from 22nd Oct to 1st November. The theme for the festival is “celebrating our cultural diversity”.
Theree will over 250 films from various countries, seminars, workshops at the following venues. Alliance Francaise, Kenya National Theatre, The National Museums of Kenya, Nu-Metro Cinemas and others.

The 2nd edition of KIFF – 2007, saw an entry of films and filmmakers from the East African region: Kenya, Uganda , Tanzania , Zanzibar , Ethiopia , Sudan , Rwanda , South Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The festival included daily screenings at four auditoriums, students’ forum, four workshops on capacity building, film premieres, artist cafeteria and community screening.
